Hazel will be two next month and is so curious about counting and learning colors! We sat down and read the What Makes a Rainbow? board book and wanted a fun activity or snack to go with it.
This rainbow snack is perfect to start with her age group. We decided to skip adding the marshmallows until she's a little older since they can be a choking hazard. This snack activity can also be enjoyed by preschool and also school aged kids.
Take a moment to count the Fruit Loops and marshmallows, talk about their colors, taste and texture. This can go with any rainbow book, spring or summer activities or even for St. Patrick's Day.
Have fun and enjoy!
Thanks so much for supporting a small business and visiting our family owned blog 💕
What do you need for this snack?
Amazon has a Happy Belly Fruit Rings Cereal, which isn't as colorful as Fruit Loops, but has no artificial flavors, certified synthetic colors and no high fructose corn syrup.
M&M's or Skittles would also be fun for an older age group.
