These semi homemade popsicle cupcakes are the easiest to make and they're so adorable! Kids love them and let's be real, adults do too!
They're easy enough for the kids to help make and decorate. Make sure to keep them refrigerated or in an air conditioned area so the frosting doesn't melt before serving.

What are the ingredients and supplies for this recipe?
- paper cupcake liners
- muffin/cupcake pan
- 1 box yellow cake mix (plus ingredients listed on box to make)
- toothpicks
- Mike and Ike candy
- whipped cream frosting or frosting of your choice
- piping bag
- Wilton 1M star tip
- multi colored sprinkles

Popsicle Party Cupcakes
Ingredients
- paper cupcake liners
- 1 - 15.25 ounce box yellow cake mix (plus ingredients listed on box to make)
- toothpicks
- Mike and Ike candy
- whipped cream frosting or frosting of your choice
- piping bag
- Wilton 1M star tip
- multi colored sprinkles
Instructions
- Place paper cupcake liners in each spot of a cupcake/muffin pan.
- Mix and bake cupcakes per instructions on the cake mix box. Remove from oven and cool completely.
- Using a scissors, cut each toothpick in half. Place a toothpick half in each candy with the pointed toothpick end into the wide part of the candy to create the popsicles
- Pipe a flat swirl of whipped cream frosting on each cupcake using a piping bag with a Wilton 1M star tip.
- Place 2-3 popsicles on each cupcake
- Use sprinkles on each cupcake to fill the space around the popsicles.

Store cupcakes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
