Halloween Chocolate Truffles
Ingredients
- 1 - 18.3 ounce (13x9 in pan size) brownie mix
- 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup
- ¼ cup water
- halloween sprinkles
Instructions
- Place dry brownie mix in a large microwave safe mixing bowl. Place in microwave and heat in 30 second increments stirring between each for about 1 ½ minutes or until temperature is 160 (I used an instant read thermometer to check)
- Remove from microwave and add in chocolate syrup, corn syrup and water.
- Stir until well mixed and smooth.
- Place sprinkles in a shallow dish.
- Scoop out 1 tbsp of brownie mixture at a time and roll into a ball. Slightly dampening your hands for rolling. It keeps the batter from sticking to them.
- Roll in sprinkles to coat. Place on plate or baking sheet.
- Repeat until batter is used.
- Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
Make ahead and store in an airtight container for up to two days and serve chilled. Store with parchment or wax paper between the layers.
