Looking for a grab and go snack for your toddler? Give this Blueberry Toddler Trail Mix a try!
This snack mix is a favorite of Hazel's! She loves blueberry everything and gobbles it right up whenever we make it. We've also tried it with strawberry Cheerios and it was tasty as well.
I recommend serving this trail mix to kiddos ages 12 months and up. We had a choking issue with the yogurt melts when Hazel was about 9 months old, but by 12 months, she had enough teeth to help chew them, reducing the chance of choking. As always, use supervision when the kiddos are snacking.
We love freeze dried strawberries and blueberries for snacking when we don't have fresh on hand. They dissolve quickly and have so much flavor.
The combo of the yogurt melts, Cheerios and freeze dried blueberries provides a great texture while eating. This snack can even be used as a sorting and counting activity. Sort the different foods in the mix and count how many of each there are.
This may be called "toddler" trail mix, but it's loved by all ages, even the adults! Happy snacking!

Recipe tips:
- Some brands vary in their fruit sizing and if the blueberries are large, it’s best to cut them for a safer snacking option. My brand was from Target and they were the same size or smaller than the yogurt bites.
- Store this trail mix in an airtight container or ziploc bag for up to one month.
